Imagination Station chosen for Disney Give a Day, Get a Disney Day!
Toledo, Ohio – Imagination Station is proud to announce that they have been selected by Disney to be a local volunteer organization for their national Give a Day, Get a Disney Day ticket offer. Disney’s goal is to inspire a million people to give back to their communities through volunteering, and in turn, Disney is giving each volunteer a 1-day, 1-theme park ticket to the DisneylandÒ Resort or Walt Disney WorldÒ Resort, free.
“Imagination Station is community and family driven, which is what inspired us to be part of this tremendous program,” said Lori Hauser, Executive Director of the science center. “Volunteers are a vital part of our organization and makes us a natural fit to assist Disney in fulfilling their national volunteer initiative.”
Families are encouraged to participate together. Children must be at least 6 years old to participate. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must volunteer a minimum of 6 hours to qualify for the free Disney admission ticket.
Imagination Station has special days earmarked as Disney Give-a-Day Volunteer Days. Disney has designated a total of 1 million tickets for this initiative. Once they’re gone, they’re gone, so act now and take part in this exciting opportunity.
People wishing to volunteer at the science center through this program, can visit www.imaginationstationtoledo.org to begin the process.
