New Exhibit!
Imagination Station announces the opening of a new exhibit, Wise About Eyes, opening February 18 and running through June 27! Wise About Eyes is designed to educate Ohio’s children and their caregivers about ways that they can keep their eyes healthy and safe. Wise About Eyes is presented by Prevent Blindness Ohio and the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in partnership with the Ohio Association of School Nurses, the Opticians Association of Ohio, the Ohio Optometric Association, and the Ohio Ophthalmological Society.
Spend your President’s Day at Imagination Station!
Imagination Station will be open tomorrow, February 15, 2010, from 10:00am – 5:00pm. Since the kids are off school, Imagination Station is a great place to come spend the day together; exploring, discovering and having fun!
We’ll be kicking off our celebration of National Engineers Week, which runs February 15-21. Visitors can build big and test their design skills in Science Studio all week long. Invited guest experts throughout the week will offer their engineering expertise as visitors explore compression, tension and torsion to create sky-high structures.
