Re-surgence – Arena Sculpture Construction

All summer long, a trio of local and regional artists, Sayaka Ganz, Greg Mueller and Steve Williams, will be constructing a sculpture at Imagination Station made from thousands of recycled blue, green and purple post-consumer items (measuring cups, spoons, toys).  (Read more…)The artists are inviting the community to come out and lend a hand at constructing this fifty-foot long sculpture, titled Re-surgence, which will be the third work of public art to be permanently installed at the Huntington Center. The sculpture topographically depicts the Downtown section of the Maumee River.

Visitors to Imagination Station are asked to bring recycled products with them to donate to this artistic venture. Click on the picture below to see what type of items they are looking for.
