Volunteers Needed for Summer Camp Counselors

Toledo, Ohio – Imagination Station is currently seeking volunteers to assist as camp counselors during our Summer Day Camp; Catapults, Coasters and Cars! Engineering is a field that experts predict will have an abundance of job openings in the near future, which is why we have chosen it as this year’s theme. Volunteers would be helping with hands-on activities designed to inspire the inner inventors in the campers.

In these weeklong camps, (June 28-August 6) campers will experience engineering through hands-on creative investigations, design challenges and building activities. They’ll invent, build rockets, catapults, zip-lines, bridges and even paddlewheel boats.

As many high school graduates are preparing for the start of their college career, this opportunity to help inspire the next generation in finding their dreams, may be a perfect opportunity to help build a resume, all while having some fun. The Imagination Station, located on the downtown Toledo riverfront, is a science center dedicated to delivering science and technology based programming to youth and their families throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
