Catapults, Coasters and Cars!
Engineers are responsible for having designed and made most of what the modern world utilizes every day; from the cars we drive and the houses we live in, to the straws we drink from and the boxes our cereal comes in. Engineering is a vast career choice, giving individuals an opportunity to explore and invent in a multitude of venues, each as important as the next.

Imagination Station’s Summer Camp, Catapults, Coasters and Cars!, gives campers a unique experience to learn about Engineering and dabble in some of its genres in a fundamental, yet potentially life-changing way. In this weeklong camp, campers experience engineering through hands-on creative investigations, design challenges and building activities. They invent, build rockets, catapults, zip-lines, bridges and even paper roller coasters. All week long campers will be preparing for a “Design Show” for the last day, so that visitors to Imagination Station can view their creations on site.
At the least, your child will have a blast exploring the science center and doing some really cool experiments and activities, and at best – your child may begin to dream about becoming the next Frank Lloyd Wright, Henry Ford or Leonardo DaVinci.
We’ll explore Aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical, Civil, Structural and Material Engineers during our weeklong summer camp.

For 7 to 12 year olds (2nd to 7th grade)

9:00am-4:30pm (Extended care is available from 8:00am-5:30pm, at no additional cost)
