The Dog Days of Summer

Saturday, June 12 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, June 13 – Noon – 5:00 pm

It’s wuff out there for a puppy. So we’re lending a paw to all our 4-legged companions. We’re hosting a special weekend at the science center that’s dedicated to man’s best friend and the people who love them.If you’re looking to adopt, several area rescue shelters (Planned Pethood, Hairy Houdini Husky Rescue, FurKid Rescue, Golden Retriever Rescue Resource and the Italian Greyhound Rescue of Ohio) will be on hand.  You may just fall in love with your ‘fur’ever friend. However, most rescue’s require an application process, so don’t worry about bringing a leash.

And if you’ve already found your little 4-legged ray of sunshine, or are considering it, then this weekend is especially good for learning about how to train your pup, keep him healthy, groom him, feed him tasty treats, and then pick up his leftover gifts.

Demonstrations will be going on throughout the weekend by the following organizations. (Subject to change)
