Engineer It! our newest exhibition
Our newest Learning World, Engineer It!, is now open. This 5,000 square foot space features 25 new exhibits about engineering in three topics areas: Wind, Water and Structures.
In ENGINEER IT!, visitors engage in open-ended, multiple-outcome activities designed to present elements of the experimental process. ENGINEER IT! presents no right or wrong answers; visitors are free to set their own challenges and design and test devices to meet those challenges. There are three major testing areas that provide opportunities for visitors to delve into the design and engineering process: Water, Structures and Wind.

We’ve created a series of Family Workshops designed to help families explore the engineering process together and compete as a unit against other families. Fling It!, Don’t Crack Up and Vroom, Vroom, Zoom all engage the family in the Think It, Build It, Test It and Do It Again philosophy of Engineer IT! Sign up to take the Challenge!
