Art Meets Science

Local artists showcased at Imagination Station

 

Toledo, Ohio – Imagination Station is excited to showcase artwork created by Toledo area K-12 students throughout the month of April.

 

Winners of The Showcase of the Arts, sponsored by the Toledo Symphony League, will be on display at the science center through April 22, 2012. Students from Kindergarten through high school were challenged to produce poetry/prose, musical compositions, or mixed medium two-dimensional artwork they were inspired to create after listening to a series of classical music selections. An awards banquet will take place on Sunday, April 22, where the artists will be recognized.

 

The Imagination Station, located on the downtown Toledo riverfront, is a science center dedicated to delivering science and technology based programming to youth and their families throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
