Don’t be a Chicken
Ever wonder what it would be like to have full reign of Imagination Station–just you, and no one else? Normally when you enter the science center you can hear the stomping of feet, the excitement of kids’ voices, and the clanking of machines. However, upon entering the building this morning, all that could be heard were the quiet chirps of the chicks. Their soft chirps are often masked by the other loud noises. Hearing them made it impossible not to go and say good morning to them. And boy was I surprised when I realized how much they have grown! My favorite chick is almost white in color. She, maybe he?, is quite a spunky little one. Personally, I attribute her spunk to her sassy feet. It almost looks like she is wearing fuzzy wool socks. At least we know she’ll stay warm in the cold air conditioning! Don’t be a chicken; come out and see them before they have to leave on July 1st!
