Farm Fest 2012
Extended through August 5!
Imagination Station has brought the farm to downtown Toledo for Farm Fest, an event to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by American agriculture. If you’re looking to give your kids a ‘down on the farm’ experience but can’t make it out to the country, Farm Fest will offer you an opportunity to expose your children to the good life right here.

Kids Fest is a celebration of healthy living focused on the family. Take part in an obstacle course and physical activities, delicious healthy food demonstrations and activities to inspire families to get fit together. Representatives from some of Toledo’s most family friendly places, including health professionals, will be on hand to answer questions about getting and staying fit as a family.
*This is a Free Event and takes place in Festival Park. In the case of rain, Kids Fest will take place in the lobby area inside Imagination Station. Admission is required to explore Imagination Station.

Go for the Au!

With the 2012 Summer Olympics taking place this July, Imagination Station is hosting Go for the Au! The Science of the Olympics July 26-29. (By the way, Au=Gold). Put on your running shoes and be ready to compete. We’ll feature the 30-meter dash, long jump, vertical jump, throwing accuracy test and timed fast pitch! Complete your passport and you’ll receive an Imagination Station Olympic medal.

Pepsi Fountain

Kids from our Hot Summer, Cool Science – Super Splatter Science Summer Camp will launch 200 bottles of soda into the air during a Pepsi Fountain. As the grand finale of a week filled with messy science experiments, these kids will entertain their parents and visitors with 3 minutes of choreographed chaos. The only catalyst – mint lifesavers!
The Pepsi Fountain will take place in Festival Park, adjacent to Imagination Station. Learn more about Summer Camp.
H2OOOOOOOh! Water Rocket Challenge

August 11
12-5pm
Discover the Engineer within…
This exciting science challenge gives kids of all ages the opportunity to design and build their own rocket. We’ll provide everything that you need (bottles, paper, tape, water, etc), you just need to bring the idea and the willingness to put it together.
If your water rocket hits the target, you’ll be entered to win an awesome science kit!
