With live demonstrations, ever-changing activities in Science Studio and unlimited fun, we make earning your badges a blast!

All workshops last 2-hours and are held from 12pm-2pm.

Science in Action & Science Wonders

Create a substance that isn’t really a solid or a liquid, blow up a balloon without using your own breath, and even make your own rocket!   In this workshop – you get to be the scientist!

Movers & Space Explorers

An airplane couldn’t fly through the sky without the wind blowing over its wings.  Find out how to fly your own paper copter, and balloon rocket.  Then take a step further into space and learn about the night sky by entering our STARLAB portable planetarium!

Eat Right, Stay Healthy & My Body

Did you know you have more than 600 muscles in your body?  You control some of these muscles, while others — like your heart — do their jobs without you thinking about them at all. Investigate the heart as a muscle by using our heart pump, as well as learning how calories are used for energy with our calorie fountain.

Sky Search Badge

The sky is filled with planets, stars, moon, satellites and more. Instead of just gazing up at the sky, why not learn about what you’re looking at? Earn your Sky Search badge during this 2 hour workshop by learning about constellations, the North Star, and even how to use a star map!

Find out more about the weather around us! An Imagination Station team member will show you how to set up your own weather station to record change in air pressure, and how you can use air pressure to break a ruler.

Once you step into this workshop you will discover what causes erosion, learn about solids, liquids, and gases, and end the day by doing your own scientific experiment!

Scientist Badge

During this workshop you’ll do scientific experiments and test some famous scientific laws.  You’ll also explore ideas about how airplanes fly and the way changes in atmospheric pressure can move objects.

Engineer Badge

Earn this activity badge while working on fun engineering projects like bridge models, building catapults, and creating your own electrical circuit.

$15.00 per participant


This price includes admission for the day to Imagination Station, the 2-hour scheduled workshop and a free Simulator Theater ride for any scout in uniform. Purchase of the Try-Its/Badges/Belt Loops/Academic Pins is the responsibility of the Scout Leader and is not included in the workshop price. Adult chaperone cost is $7.00 and includes a Simulator Theater ride token. Imagination Station memberships are not applicable for the workshops.
