Imagination Station has an ever changing calendar of events that makes every visit to the science center different from the last. With events for kids of all ages, you're sure to find fun for the entire family. Below is a listing of current and upcoming events.
Grossology
May 18 – September 2
Sometimes it’s stinky. Sometimes it’s crusty. Sometimes it’s slimy. Explore the (impolite) science of the human body. Learn how your nose functions, why you burp and even match body odors to where they come from on your body.
Summer Reading Club
June 11- August 8
We will be hosting 5 workshops, based on the best- selling book Grossology at the Lucas County Public Librarys’. Learn more here.
Hot Summer Cool Science – Summer Camps

Meet the Author of Grossology
June 21 & 22
Join “Her Grossness” as she teaches you how to make wounds, sneezes and barf. After the show, get your Grossology book signed!
Summer Solstice
June 21
Join us as we gaze upon the night sky inside our portable planetarium, STARLAB. Discover the summer constellations and their Greek origins while learning how scientists study the infinite sky above.

We will be celebrating Independence day “science style”, 10am – 5pm.
H2OOOOOOOh! Water Rocket Challenge
July 6
Discover the engineer within… This exciting science challenge gives kids of all ages the opportunity to design and build their own rocket.
Animal Grossology
July 12
The Toledo Zoo will be here. Join us as they talk about digestion and animal poo!
Golf Science
July 16 – 21
In the spirit of the Marathon Classic Golf Tournament, we are exploring the science of golf!
Grossology Family Workshops
