At Imagination Station we have hundreds of hands-on exhibits that help to deliver the science message through fun experiences. Imagination Station is made up of ten Learning Worlds that are each made up of dozens of individual exhibits.

Get your heart pumping as you take on the Wheel of Fire and the Heart Rate Rally, Smash Your Food to smithereens, and literally Get in the Action. Eat It Up!, a highly interactive exhibition focused on nutrition and exercise, tells the story of how the choices you make today affect your body. Eat Smart. Play Hard. Have Fun. The choice is yours!
Think it. Build it. Test it … Do It Again! A highly interactive learning world that presents science as an open-ended discovery process. You can explore the physics behind the Caternary Arch, learn about aerodynamics by making the perfect paper airplane, and build your own boat! Have fun and remember, Think it, Build it, Test it…Then Do It Again!
Offers visitors a glimpse into the abstract world of oil refining and solar energy. Visitors can manipulate the energy output of a photovoltaic wall, play games using sunlight, program a robotic arm or command a kid-friendly, colorful oil refinery.
Grow U is an interactive exhibition that celebrates the world of agriculture and farming!Take your farm know-how to a whole new level and be the next contestant on FARM 101: Know It to Grow It! This interactive game show takes you on an entertaining and educating journey from field to table. Sit down in the tractor seat and get ready for four rounds of questions about seeds to soil, satellites to sun and everything agriculture in between. Score high and achieve Master Farmer status.
Leading a clever cast of animatronic characters to assist you on your journey is Tork, a blend of man and machine, and Mother Nature, an unpredictable embodiment of all that is earthy. Other cast members include Cornelius D. Cobb, a bag of soil named Clayton, an eager little soybean named Tina Tofu, resident know-it-all Kevin the Pig, Déjeuner, a world-traveling produce cart and Skylar, a blipping and beeping voice from the sky.
Little KIDSPACE is a learning world designed for children kindergarten age and younger. Out littlest adventurers can hop aboard a fire truck, shop in the grocery store or climb their favorite tree house while learning about forces, motion, math and life science. Little KIDSPACE Studio features a daily interactive story and activity.
Every day in Little KIDSPACE Science Studio, a special hands-on activity area within Little KIDSPACE, one of our qualified team members sits down with the kids and reads them a story, then facilitates a complimentary activity with kids.

Extreme Science Theater
Spark your curiosity in our Extreme Science Theater where we blow science up – literally, with extreme demonstrations on combustion, motion, sound, matter and the scientific method! Located inside Science Studio on the Lower Atrium is one of the loudest and most exciting areas of Imagination Station. This is where we facilitate Interactive Demonstrations throughout the day. A full list of daily demonstrations is available at Visitor Service and on video screens throughout the building.
Mind Zone helps you discover how the mind processes, interprets and creates illusions and perceptions. Home to the Distorted Gravity Room, built using thoughtful construction and optical illusions to create a visual distortion that you’ll never forget. Mind Zone plays tricks with your mind. You won’t believe what you see.
Water Works explores the slippery science of water with an entire learning world dedicated to exploring nature’s most powerful resource. Our water and erosion tables, giant water vortex and fascinating weather exhibits, including the Hurricane Chamber, are sure to delight inquisitive minds at any age.
