Plan Your Visit

The best way to get the most out of your science center is to visit during one of our special events. Check out the events below or see a full list of everything going on here.

Superhero Day

  • Dates: 27 Apr – 27 May, 2019

Science and superheroes go together like courage and valor, and Imagination Station will be the place to be for Avengers fans on Saturday, April 27. From 1 – 4pm Captain Marvel and her friends will be on hand to meet science center visitors.

  • An explosion resulting in the introduction of new DNA gives this superhero amazing stamina, strength, agility and power, making her one of the mightiest heroesCaptain Marvel made her big screen debut this year and is now making her first Imagination Station appearance.
  • This genius inventor developed armor that provides super-strength, data and communications capabilities, defense technology, and life support systems that helped him become the beloved high-flying hero, Iron Man.
  • When a teen visiting a science fair is bitten by a radioactive arachnid, he develops superhuman strength, speed and agility, and a sixth sense that alerts him to danger – visitors won’t want to miss the chance to meet Marvel’s flagship character, Spider-Man!

Aspiring heroes can design and make their own superhero mask in the Tinkering Space, then step into the photo booth for a photo with Spider-Man, Iron Man and Captain Marvel.

*The Meet & Greet is free with admission into the science center and will be offered on a first come, first served basis. Due to time constraints, the science center cannot guarantee that everyone will be able to meet the superheroes but will try to accommodate to the best of our ability. To help accommodate everyone who would like to meet them, we ask that visitors limit their photos to one per family.
