Imagination Station in the Community

With people working from home, learning virtually and living a temporary new normal, Imagination Station team members are working hard to keep connected with our community! The team is busy creating community resources and learning opportunities to continue our mission to provide informal science education and access to our community!

Mask and Face Shield Donations

Science center team members have been working hard to create masks and face shields for local health care workers. With Imagination Station dewing machines and donated fabric, the team continues to sew face masks, while other team members have used 3D printers to make face shields for the staff at area hospitals. Dozens have already been donated with more continuously being made.

Program Development for Children of First Responders

Imagination Station has partnered with area YMCA branches to provide hands-on activities and science curriculum for children of first responders and health care workers. The science center has established this partnership to provide new and exciting educational activities to keep the young minds working outside of the classroom.

Stay at Home Science and Digital Workshops

Our team is bringing the wonder of science into homes across the area. Through various digital platforms, Imagination Station is inquisitive minds by offering Stay at Home Science experiments and other resources to keep kids and families busy and learning from home. We continue to create new and engaging curriculum and workshops for learners of all ages!
