Operation Heart and Diabetes

Operation Diabetes helps APhA–ASP chapters increase awareness of diabetes and its associated complications, identify patients with undiagnosed diabetes and provide education on prevention and management. Through the campaign, student pharmacists promote public awareness of the pharmacist’s role in diabetes management and care.

Operation Heart is a student-led community initiative that addresses and helps prevents cardiovascular disease. Students reached more than 4.2 million people this year with educational messages about CVD risk factors and prevention.
