Robotics Weekend

March 7-8

From early automata to futuristic androids, humans have long had a fascination with robots, but they were largely inaccessible by the general public. Today, these machines are used to help to make our lives safer and easier – and are simple enough for kids to use and program!Blink Badges Calendar

Learn how robots are designed, built and programmed for specific tasks. Watch as local robotics competition groups demonstrate their machines, try to direct robots to accomplish a goal and experiment with coding mini robots.

Check out the exciting robotics activities including:

  • coding with your own robot
  • compete against others at robot soccer
  • test your programming skills by directing a robot through and obstacle course

Robotics Weekend activities are free with admission to the science center. For more information, please call 419.244.2674.
