Workshop Series

Every Sunday
12:30 - 2:30pm and 2:45 - 4:45pm (when noted)

Vi and Zinni • December 10
When you earn your Vi petal, you will know how to be a sister to every Girl Scout, just like Vi the Violet. When you earn your Zinni petal, you will know how to be considerate and caring, just like Zinni the Zinnia.

Home Scientist • December 17 & March 25
By paying careful attention during experiments, scientists learn new things – even if they’ve done the test before. That means you don’t have to grow up to be a scientist. You’re a scientist every time you do an experiment! For this badge, find out where science has been hiding in your own home.

Inventor January 14
Do you ever wonder what it takes to develop a new kind of phone or a new way to power a light bulb? Would you like an invention that would help tie your shoes faster or one to make elevators record your singing while you ride? For this badge, find out how inventors create new innovations, and become an inventor yourself!

Senses and My Best Self •
 February 18
Earn both badges! You only get one body, so it’s important to take care of it! Learn to pay attention to what your body needs and how to ask for health help if you need it. For this badge, you will learn what you can do to help keep yourself feeling great.

Bugs February 25
Bugs have a bad reputation, but they actually help us in lots of cool ways. Explore the world of bugs and learn more about these little creatures that do so much.

Product Designer January 21 & April 15
Through innovation and creativity, learn what it takes to bring your ideas to life.

January 28
There is more to a flower than just good looks; dig up more flower secrets as you learn how scientists study plants.

Special Agent/Detective • November 19 & March 18 (Cadetes/Juniors)
A special agent wears many hats – detective, scientist, psychologist, enforcer of the law. No wonder novels and shows about their work are so popular! For this badge, grab your magnifying glass and your microscope, and uncover your skills in one of the most exciting – and demanding – jobs for investigative minds. When you earn this badge, you’ll know how to follow clues and discover facts like a real detective.
