Get down and dirty as your students learn about nature’s own recycling system: Decomposers! These important creatures break down organic matter and return it to the ecosystem for other creatures to use again and again. Students will participate in a hands-on investigation and get up-close and personal with real decomposers.

During this workshop, students will become paleontologists and dig for fossils to learn how scientists study creatures that disappeared 65 million years ago. Preschool and Kindergarten students will explore the same content with an added literacy component in a special workshop–Little Big Dig!
