Welcome, Educators and Future Inventors

Imagination Station is officially the first hub of the Ohio Invention League—an affiliate of the Invention Convention Worldwide held at The Henry Ford. This new partnership increases access to the Invention Convention across the Toledo region and provides meaningful STEAM-based invention education to students and educators.

Through this initiative, we're equipping students with skills in problem-solving, problem identification and entrepreneurship for life-long success. Students will be inspired to explore a world where they can build the confidence and skills to invent their own future.

What is the Ohio Invention League and the Invention Convention Worldwide?

The Ohio Invention League offers STEAM programming for K-12 students, educators and out-of-school programs across Ohio. As an affiliate of the Invention Convention Worldwide, The Ohio Invention League hosts regional and state competitions and showcases for student inventors.

Inventors who succeed at the Ohio Invention League can participate in the National Invention Convention competition held at The Henry Ford.

What is Imagination Station's role in the convention?

As the first hub for the Ohio Invention League, Imagination Station will be the central resource for educators and students in Northwest Ohio.

The science center will support teacher training, mentor student inventors and guide participants to the Ohio Invention Convention, which feeds into the National Invention Convention competition at The Henry Ford.

Invention Convention for Educators

The Ohio Invention League’s Invention Convention program helps students learn by doing fun, hands-on projects that they lead themselves.

The program resources are provided for free for students and educators. It's flexible to fit any timeline, learning style and accommodates all students. The program year finishes with a series of exciting competitions and showcases where students present their inventions.
