Over 50 models will grace the runway in dynamic, cutting-edge outfits inspired by STEAM, showcasing the powerful synergy between art and science. At Elements of Style, you'll see the amalgamation of fashion, art and science like never before while helping inspire the next generation. All proceeds raised throughout the evening will go toward Imagination Station's Girl Power event which inspires girls in grades 3-8 to envision their future in STEAM careers.

Meet our Emcees

Chrys Peterson & Riley Runnells

Chrys Peterson

Chrys Peterson is a leadership and communication consultant who helps train and empower leaders at organizations around the world.

After a 30-year broadcasting career, including 20 years as the main anchor at WTOL, Chrys left TV news in 2014 to start her own consulting business helping a variety of local businesses and non-profit organizations. In 2020, Chrys was asked to become a Consulting Partner at Blanchard, one of the world’s top leadership training companies. A six-time Emmy Award recipient and Associated Press Broadcasting Hall of Fame inductee, Chrys also teaches people skills in communication, media relations, and personal branding. She is an engaging facilitator with a passion for helping others realize their full leadership capabilities.

Riley Runnells

Riley Runnells is an editor at Adams Street Publishing Company, managing editorial content for three publications. Her responsibilities include writing, editing, podcasting, SEO, and videography. She also co-hosts a podcast for WGTE Public Media. Previously, she wrote for Static Media, was editor-in-chief of Thread Magazine at Ohio University and culture editor for The Post. An Ohio University Journalism school alumna, Riley specializes in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and has earned multiple awards for her work. Beyond media, she serves on the boards of the Press Club of Toledo and Issue Box Theatre, and choreographs for local theater groups.
